About Mentor:

Nelson Udaundo

Nelson Udaundo is an accomplished Animator based in Manila. He started his career in the late 1980s when animation was making its entry into the Philippines. A Philosophy graduate from the University of the Philippines, he has over 35 years of industry experience, working in different capacities. He was an Animation director in 3D production for Singapore’s Anti-Dengue Campaign and “Cabby”, a 3D pilot show. Apart from working as an animator in other countries including Canada and Malaysia, he had founded an animation studio of his own, called New Dawn Studio. In 2008, he got drawn into the educational sector of Animation. This veteran Animator has vast knowledge in both the theory and practical applications of Animation to share with his students. Nelson will be a mentor for students in 3D Character Modeling and 3D Character Animation.
